The National School of Drama (NSD) library in New Delhi, India, is an extensive resource center for theatre enthusiasts and professionals. It boasts a vast collection of books, periodicals, scripts, and other materials related to drama and performing arts. The library is designed to support the educational and research needs of students and faculty at NSD, providing access to a wealth of information on various aspects of theatre, including acting, directing, stage design, and theatre history. It provides reference services and lending facilities to the members of the Library. The Library provides access to different databases on the intranet of the National School of Drama.
The in-house consultation facility is also extended to officials of other departments and research scholars enrolled with institutions/universities. The Library is managed by well-qualified/skilled staff. The Library is equipped with the latest tools of Information Technology and provides many services to its users. Recently NSD Library introduced Cloud based Integrated Library Management System for its day to day operations. Currently this Library working on developing the Institutional Archival Repository to enhance the facility of scholarly information.
